Peace Building and Civic Engagement (PEBCE)

Goal: To foster peace and social cohesion by training community peace ambassadors, countering hate speech, and promoting nonviolence and active civic participation.

Justification: Cameroon has experienced periods of conflict and social tension especially in the anglophone regions (Northwest and Southwest) and the Extreme North region. Building peace at the grassroots level is essential for stability and development. By engaging communities in peacebuilding activities and promoting civic responsibility, we aim to reduce violence and enhance cooperation among different societal groups.
